BIOGRAPHY

Ganiev Joxongir Xakimjanovich was born in 1977 in the city of Hakkulabad, Namangan region. From 1984 to 1994, he studied at secondary school No. 1, then entered the Department of History of Namangan State University on a budget basis. In 1999-2000, he worked as a teacher at the Department of” History of Uzbekistan ” of Namangan State University. In 2000-2003, he studied at the full-time postgraduate course of the Institute of History of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan. In 2006-2008, he worked first as a teacher, then as a senior lecturer at the Department of “History of Uzbekistan, Theory and Practice of Building a Democratic Society” of the State Institute of Physical Culture of Uzbekistan.

In 2008, he defended his PhD thesis on “Problems of historiography of the history of religious confessions in Uzbekistan”, and was awarded the degree of Candidate of Historical Sciences (PhD).

In 2010-2012, he worked as the head of the Department of “Social and Humanitarian Disciplines” of the Tashkent State Institute of Culture named after A. Kadyri. In 2012-2017, he was the head of the department at the State Institute of Physical Culture of Uzbekistan.

From 2017 to August 2019, he served as the Head of the Department of “Social and Humanitarian Disciplines” of the Tashkent State Higher School of National Dance and Choreography

Since 2019-Vice-rector for Academic and Educational work of the Higher School (Since February 4, 2020-State Academy of Choreography of Uzbekistan).

Ganiev teaches 1st-year students in the discipline “History of Uzbekistan” and undergraduates in the course “Methodology of scientific research” in Uzbek and Russian. Was supervisor of 9 graduation qualification works and master’s these two.

  1. Ganiev has an intermediate degree in English.
  2. Ganiev is the author of one textbook, one monograph, an article in the publication “skopus”, 24 articles and theses in national and international publications.

Throughout his scientific and pedagogical activity, he has established himself as a creatively active, purposeful scientist, an initiative organizer, who has experience working with new modern technologies. He is a disciplined, responsible, sincere, modest, hardworking employee and a good family man.

He is married and has three children.
