Yesterday, at the State Academy of Choreography of Uzbekistan, a memorial evening was held dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the birth of the teacher, choreographer, master of his craft, connoisseur of the art of dance, Honored Artist of Uzbekistan and Karakalpakstan, TEKOEV TAIMURAZ MURATOVICH.
The rector of the academy, Shukhrat Tokhtasimov, opened the evening and thanked his wife Rano Dosmetova and his faithful colleague Taimuraz Tekoev for the initiative to conduct a kind of master class and for the photos and video materials provided.
Further, R. Dosmetova shared her memories of her husband, his life, creativity, choreographer’s activities and provided archival videos about the work of the choreographer.
The guests, colleagues and friends of T. Tekoev who were present at the event shared their interesting memories of the owner of extraordinary talent, who devoted himself entirely to the art of dance. On November 13 he would have turned 75 years old.
